At the SNAD Foundation, we believe that sight is one of life’s greatest gifts, and we are thrilled to share the remarkable success of our recent Eye Camp in Barishal. This initiative aimed to restore the gift of vision to those who had long lived in darkness, and the results have been nothing short of heartwarming.
Through the dedicated efforts of our compassionate team, we were able to provide basic health screenings, eye exams, and perform 20 cataract surgeries, completely free of charge for individuals in need. Each beneficiary, once struggling with blurred vision and the limitations it imposed on their daily lives, is now returning home with newfound clarity and hope.
Among those we served was an elderly gentleman named Mr. Rahman, who had been living with cataracts for years. His world had dimmed to shades of gray, making even the simplest tasks a challenge.
